Cleaning the cages and wow!! Well I'm very excited...my smallest female ball just layed her first clutch. Apparently I missed ovulation, but she surprised me with five beautiful eggs.
Hoping to hatch out some pastels!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!
She weighed 1600g before laying, now she's 1144g. So that makes the clutch 456g which means each egg weighs approx. 91.2g.
Transferred them to the incubator. So anxious now, this will be a long wait for sure, but I know it's for the good.
And I think it's true...I had just about given up on this female. Just decided to not let it bother me and "ignore" her and she did her thing! Really works out well once the worries are put to the side.
