Black Headed Dumeril Boa

maddman Apr 30, 2004 12:15 AM

I acquired this male about five years ago. As you can see more than half of his head is black and his eye is a rust red color. I bred him to his sister again this year. Hopefully I will have some babies soon.

Thanks for looking,

Don't know what to make of that. Was there ever any trauma to his head there? The rest of head is just normal? Looks out of place.

He has never had any trauma to his head. He was born with that coloration and the red eye. I hope it proves to be genetic.

IT will be interesting to see if it does play into the genetics of the offspring. GL W/it
