Normal Spotted, Cape York, or Cross?

chaoscat Apr 30, 2004 12:35 AM

I recently picked up this adult female (yep, its a female this time-unlike my granite, which turned out to be a male) spotted python, and she has a much lighter background color than I am used to seeing in spotteds. She's also a massive 968 grams and 4+ feet-but has a tiny head! So I'm curious if she could be a cross-or just a very light spotted?

They don't have big heads. Looks to me like a Cape York,
