Hey everyone. It's been a crazy couple months with school and dragons but I have some great news. Pumpkin layed 22 eggs two days ago. She ended up mating with Monarch rather than Wizard because Wizard was still a bit young...he didn't have quite the "mojo." She is doing awesome, eating like a madwoman, gaining weight and laying eggs like a pro. I'm so proud of her. I made an incubator using an old mini fridge and a helix thermostat...I'll take some pictures later. Anyway, I had to pop on and tell everyone, these next two months are going to be quite the wait.

Awesome Peter!! Glad to hear you had a male able to make use of all those eggs Pumpkin had. That should be a nice group of dragons you will have soon. All your dragons are so impressive and any dragon you have would have made an excellent pair. Good luck Peter and keep us updated on their arrival.

Thanks Matt. Hey, where are the pictures of your hatchlings? You got me all excited with your post a few days ago and still no pictures?? You gotta give us something =)

Awww I'm sorry Peter I'm making people wait for pics, but the dragons have had such busy days so far with just neighbors coming over and looking, and wanting to touch them. I'm trying to keep them as stress free as possible, and wait till they are eating, and basking more regularly before I start picking them up and flashing cameras on them. These are my first, and I'm trying so hard to let them be, and get use to the new world & brothers and sisters with as little interference as possible. Once they are all eating the pics will come as I'm dying to show them off Just want to get them all on the same page as they all hatched on different days, and some are behind the older ones, and more vulnerable. Many are starting to eat/bask, and it really is a great learning experience that's for sure, but very nerve wracking as you want everything to go so perfectly.
