Swollen EYE Please help!!!!!!

I have a sinaloan milk and its left eye is swollen bad!!! I am treating it for mites with reptile relief and need help with the swollen eye..... Any ideas of what it might be????? Thanks in advanced for your replies.

improper temps.What I have done is to crank the heat up on the heated side of the cage and insert a needle to drain the fluid CAREFULLY through the inside top jaw.....I cannot advise you to do this so a trip to the vets office is likely in order.After the procedure higher temps and a routine round of antinbiotics should clear up the infection.If this happened due to brumation or breeding related events obviously remove the specimen from breeding for the year as it will need its energy to fight the infection.Good luck,Jeff
