Baby Uno and his mom...the first meeting. They were very good at the show all day Saturday and they certainly got a lot of attention.

Hi Jane! They definitely grabbed a bunch of attention!!! And now others here can see why! To let others know......both are super sweethearts and were petted by many onlookers.

You and Stephanie definitely can be proud of these 2 as well as the baby albino Jane!!!

Take real good care!!!

how do you get them to just sit like that! Taz is like my ferrets, if its a new place he HAS to wander all around it like 3 times. and even then he still will wander around. he will sit and relax when its just me and john(my best friend) anyone else he gets nervous and will actually walk circles around them.... ever since i got him back from Bert this winter, hes weary of other ppl besides me and john. anyway, i dont think i could get him to just sit where there is a new place. :/

My tegus are like that too Matthew. Whenever they go some place new they search all around. I was always under the impression they were looking for way back to their house. I have noticed they are more likely to wander around when other people are over and more incline to go back into their hide box : /

There are a couple of reasons that the Tegus are well behaved at the shows. Most of my Tegus are used to being out in the public since I do display them at shows and use them for educational presentations. At the shows they are set up on top of a large dog crate that is on a table so there's no where to go but down. I think the height is a little intimidating. I also provide them with a nice toasty heating pad under their towels and they enjoy laying on the heat. In the summer the show halls tend to be a little cool from the air conditioning so the heating pad tends to keep them in one place.

These two are adorable!

Perfect example of "before" & "after".
