I got my new iguana from the petshop near me, but the thing is the iguana looks like a baby. The petshop told us that he/she was 3 YEARS OLD. Is this common for such an old green iguana. It is very frightened of me aswell. Also he has some places where he is missing scales and has some scares. is it possible he has been malnurised and maybe put in with na bigger iguana that attacked him. please inform me.

Poor food and living conditions can stunt an iggy's growth quite severely, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case. If temps aren't high enough, and the food isn't good enough, iglets aren't going to grow well. Poor thing, at least its in good hands now!
