Let me know if you live in Alaska. I am moving there in about two weeks. I used to live there and my grandma still does, also my mom and brother are already there.

Anyway, are there any breeders up there? Are you a breeder? Where in AK are you located? Also when having leos shipped there did you use fedex? or Ups? I have to ship all my snakes and leos up ahead of me so any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I was born and raised in Alaska. I live in the Mat-Su Valley.

I only have Leopard Geckos. I bought out of state one time from crestedgecko.com and he sent them Fedex. They arrived safe and just a little shook up. This is the best time of year to have to ship. I had mine shipped back in March (I think)
I don't see a lot of herp happinings in the paper so I don't think there are a lot of breeders out there for this part of the country but I could be wrong as I know there are some out there. I do breed on a small scale and this is my first year. I am just breeding normals to sell to a local feed/pet store who would rather buy local then out of state. I don't know what else more I can tell you. I am sorry I can't be of more help. I love herps but I don't know much about them. I have yet to see anything like the huge reptile shows you all talk about in the south. Good luck and welcome to Alaska!
