Brown Snake Tank Size 5 1/2" Long Now Will Reach 13''

How big of a tank should I plan to get that not get to small?

I have never kept this particular species but I would think a 5-gal tank is more than enough at this point. A 10 gal might be a better size for an adult. Nothing larger than a 10-gal should ever be required. Make sure it has an escape proof lid. If you are using the plastic bins you can start it with a "shoebox" size and later graduate it to a "sweater box" size. Check the terrestrial snake forum for further information on Brown Snakes.
