My dragon has recently ( not sure why ) started running through his crap.I come home from school to find a beautiful brand new sheet of shelfliner stained and the glass on the sides of the tank redecorated with his poop.My question is,is there any way I can keep him from stepping in it and how do I go about cleaning his feet?I have given him baths but he still has poop on his back feet and tail.It seems like it annoyed/hurt him when i tried to wipe them with a paper towel. any ideas?

I use shelf liner too, and when I'm not going to be available to clean the poo right after they poo that day I line the cages with paper towels right on top of the liner. This will give it something to soak into instead of staying right on top, and will cut down on the mess a lot. It's always good to have extra dry liners ready to go so you can take out the old and fully clean the rest. For feet and tough to clean tails at time I did buy a crest spinbrush for cleaning the tough spots and it works great for that.

i use an old soft toothbrush to gently scub my beardies when they need it. at first they dont care for it but once they get use to it they like the scatch of it (expecially on the belly)

My big guy loves to have his beard scales brushed. It's about the only enjoyment he gets out of bathtime.
