My uro that I recently got is becoming more tame or so it seems. He actually ate in front of me for once, I had never seen him eat before.Hes still pooping and basking regularly. But I have one question. He usually goes to sleep about an hour or two before the lights go off and some days he doesn't come out to bask. But he still remains active eating etc.I recently changed the number of hours the lights are on from 12-14 hours could this be causing him to do this?

thanks

14 hours of "daytime" is good if you're not brumating. If he's tired from all the exhausting things uros do, he will "turn in" early. Also, it may be a more comfortable temp in the hideout. More than likely, it's the least stressfull place. If the food is available, I wouldn't worry too much about it. All three of mine do that now and again.
