Can you tell if a leo is het for something or no? Besides knowing what the parents are.

How do you tell if a gecko is het for something?

Breeding it to something that's recessive for whatever genes it might be het for....there's no way to tell just by looking.

generally those who buy hets intend on breeding them...which means they'll find out if they are in fact het or not...and if someone sells a normal as a het, and the buyer finds out...that seller probably won't do to well in the future...
