egg hatching

Ok heres the situation one 2 eggs in one container one hatched 65 days into incubation the other still hasnt hatched and its the 78th day today it looks fine but they were literaly 1 inch apart from eachother int eh container should i just wait until the egg does its thing what shold i do ne thing wrong (ps the baby that hatched is healthy and perfectly normal

I've read that ciliatus eggs have been known hatch 3-4 weeks apart. Personally speaking, I would just candle the egg without picking it up, just to see if there is anything in side. At this stage, you shouldn't see much glow when you candle the egg.

More importantly, I'd consider the egg good and just wait for the baby to pip the egg or for the egg to start molding. It will do one or the other within a couple weeks, at the longest.

why is there such a delay ebtween the egg hatchings any ideas its friggan wierd

It's probably just a difference in genetics...Just like some siblings grow differently, these could be growing at a different rate in the egg.
