Time between prelay shed and egg laying in Vietnamese Blue Beauties?

krisg May 01, 2004 01:32 PM

Or any of the beauties really, I imagine they would all be similar. Have a female in prelay shed at the moment, at least I think so... The male got her pretty late so I don't really know if she's gravid or not and she's not very handleable, so I can't really check. Just wondering how long to wait for eggs before I assume it's a lost cause...
Thanks everyone for your input in advance,
Kris

My average is right about one weeks. So far that has just been with my main blue female, but I have another going this year and a Taiwan, so I'll have more info on weather they all run about the same in a month or so. But with the female that I've bred the past two years now, its been almost dead on one week both clutches.

No problem and good luck. The second female of my trio should be going into prelay within a week, along with my Taiwan.
