I had a clutch from a 1yr old female begin to hatch this past mondy night. There were only 6 fertile eggs, and one hatched monday night... healthy strapping tot. I acutally had to sortof help him get the rest of the way out of the egg... but after that he was fine and is still doing great. Then... a whole day goes by befor another one hatches. Which is strange to me because all my other clutches have allways all hatch in the same day. The Wednesday another hatches... he is fine too... then thursday another... he isn't looking great to me. He hatched, but had a very large egg yold attatched to his tummy in compariston to the others. He is still hanging on though, just seems weaker than the other two. Well, the other three eggs are just sitting there. I can even SEE movement inside.. but no hatching. Any ideas, advice, etc. I am sooooo tempted to slice them open, but am also afaid I will do more harm than good!! Thanks a bunch!!

You really need to be patient here. Though it is not common it is not unheard of for eggs from the same clutch to hatch two weeks apart. Most will hatch withing a 4-5 day period. You don't want to bring them out of the eggs until the yolk is absorbed as much as possible. The one baby probably hatched a little premature. Be patient they should be fine.

All you can do is wait. Don't "help" them out of the egg, they will come out when they are ready.
