Is this a "Cane Toad"?

dleary946 May 01, 2004 04:08 PM

I bought this toad today at a local reptile show by the name of "Surinam Giant Toad", only to find that there is nothing about toads of this name on the internet. -- Is it a "Cane Toad"?

If so, is mid 70's a good temperature to keep it at? How often should I feed it? Also, is there a way to distinguish between sexes that is non-invasive?

Thanks,

I was just reading up on these guys. Be carefuly they are toxic and can at times actualy spray a fine mist of their toxin at what they view as a predator.
