I'm having problems switching my male hondo to F/T mice. He's already shy and jumpy to begin with so I have to give him his privacy when he's eating his live pinks. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I recently had the same problem with a hatchling hondo. He would only take live pinks. I keep a couple of ground skinks in my freezer. I washed a live pink, thawed out the skinks, and then rubbed the live pink all over the skink. The next two times that I fed him I used a f/t pink, and again rubbed the skink all over it. After doing this just a couple of times he started taking the f/t pinks without any skink scenting.

this worked for me
place the snake in a paper bag in the cage and add a live pinkie in and a f/t and leave it be for a while most the time after the snake has eaten it will crawl out of the bag on it's own. then you just take the bag out.
