I recently purchased a Greek Tortoise and I'm not sure which is the best substrate for an indoor enclosure. I am using "reptile bark" now but I've heard sand/topsoil is good also? Anyone have any opinions/ comments. Thank you Dee

Sand might not be good for your tortoise, it can be harmfull is accidently ingested. I would use a mix of 'bed-a-beast' brand substrate, with a mix oif timothy hay (for rabbits) It won't make that much humidty and they are both harmless if eaten by accident, the timothy hay is actually good for them!
