Has anyone used Repti Aid at all? Your experiences, opinions??
I have Jumpstart, and I have 2 geckos that are too skinny for my liking, and have to do something. They arent eating like id like, and ive used the JumpStart on them, with no success.

Anyone got anything to say about this product?
Im going to pick some up in just a few minutes.

I didn't find this product to work very well. Maybe you will have a better experience. I usually fatten my girls up with waxworms after they drop their eggs & are looking a skinny. They haven't gotten spoiled...they still like their crickets too! God luck!

a fecal may in ordeer crystal.. if nothing comes up from the fecal test.. i would suggest some butribac... it helps establish gut flora content and it helps to stimulate somewhat finkiky feeders.................... is the fecal comes back with parasites, the most common are pin worms and your reptile vet will most likely treat them with liquid panacure.... until you get a handle on either parasites or just picky eaters keep em seperate from everyone else , in quarenteen so to speak.. wash hands after handling each of them and clean water bowls and food bowls out frequently with a 1:10 bleach water solution and rinse very well.. email me if you have any questions

I don't think she mentioned.. One of them is a Gravid female who has decided she just doesn't like eating. She laid one of her eggs last week, but there's still another egg in there. We tried feeding her baby food the other night (chicken). She ate it & all, and then puked it all back up later.

She used to eat whatever we put in there with her, but nada anymore. I know they quit eating for a while shortly before they lay, but she's just not eating. Period.

One of them (the male) I am already treating with Panacur.
He is eating great, but not gaining weight. I just started the treatments...so I should start to see results soon enough, especially since he is eating. As for the female, im sure she doesnt have parasites, she's just gravid, and being VERY picky. Ive never had so much trouble with a gravid female as with her. My other females will lay their eggs, and then eat like crazy..gaining all the weight back. But this little girl wont. She'll lay her eggs...and then still refuse to eat.

If this egg doesnt come out soon, she is going to see a vet. But she is spending alot of time in the nest box, so it may be any day now..hopefully.
She is still very energetic, and showing no signs of illness, except refusing food. So I guess we'll see how it goes.

I gave them both a little bit of ReptiAid last night, along with some crickets, which the male gladly chomped...but she hasnt taken anything but the ReptiAid (which she seems to like)
So ill just wait a little longer for that egg to pass, and see if her appetite comes back after that. If not...its on to the vet.

The male gained 1 gram, and the female gained 2 grams
There is no way they gained that from the ReptiAid, since the dosage was very very small. So perhaps she grabbed herself a few crickets last night, or alot of water. I guess, either way, its a good thing, lol.

well..water or crickets...i wouldn't be toooooo worried...since shes an adult and can handle fasting for a while...my female during her first clutch didn't eat anything probably a week after she bred....until the last day when she layed, when i came home and saw big white eggs in her nest box and a bunch of vermiculite all over the tank...i dropped in 12 crix...went to the bathroom...and wasn't the time consuming one ...but the expelling of fluids...and once i came back ALL and i mean ALL 12 of the adult crix were gone...i was kinda skeptical that she ate them soo fast...so i dropped in 3 supers...and sure enough...she gulped them down one by one....so then i put a pinky in...and she ate that..then i realized i was having too much fun and didn't want her to regurge so i stopped...but she gained all 8 grams in 4 days....amazing huh?

Not to hi-jack this thread, but I have a male leo that hasn't eaten in some time and I am trying everything, crix, mealies, supers, silkies, and even a pinky. He just won't eat. He is healthy (53g) and temps are(89-91)on the warm end. He stays active and is only losing a litle weight. He even poops on a regular basis, just a long time in between.Any thoughs I would like to try the nutribac to see if it could stimulate a feeding response. Where do I get some?

Thanks
