HELLO.... I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE IN OR AROUND WEST TX. OR THAT HERPS THERE CAN OFFER SOME ADVICE... IM IN SOUTH EAST TX.. THAT IS A GOOD 10 HR DRIVE TO WEST TX.. IM PLANNIN A HERP TRIP THERE SOON LIKE REALLY SOON AND WAS HOPEING THAT SOMEONE OUT THERE COULD HELP ME OUT WITH SOME INFO ON SOME SPOTS TO LOOK AND GOOD RD'S TO CRUIZE? I'D HATE TO MAKE THAT 10 HR DRIVE AND JUST FLIP A COIN AS TO WHICH RD TO CRUIZE OR LIL DESERT TO WALK THRU IN THE DAY TIME.... ANY HELP WHAT SO EVER WOULD BE SO KIND THANX ALOT..... You could try askin the fellas in the Grayband Kingsnake forum. That is where I look for West TX reports. DON'T SHOUT (use all caps) IN THERE. They can be a bit temporamental. Good luck out there. Wish I was you. I loved it!

How far west?
Personally, I like to go to Del Rio and head up 277 toward Loma Alta. Once you're there you can hunt the rock cuts right along 277. Good luck!
