New Leo doesnt seem to eat..........

spotsnbands May 01, 2004 09:55 PM

I posted a couple days ago about how I got a new Leo from my next door neighbor. Shes about 2 yrs. old and very friendly.
I put a hide box in the tank, and she never seems to come out but I do see that she has taken a u know what... so she must have came out, but the thing I am worried about is that it doesnt look like she has eaten anything, I have seen her lick her calcium though.... is there anything u guys think I should be doing?
here is a pic, if you havent seen her already.
Thanks. Joe.

HI

You could call your neighbor and ask them what they had been feeding her.

What you might try doing is buting some meal worms and place one in the calcium dish. If you see her go there alot maybe she would see the worm and eat it. Just an idea not sure if it would work. She might be a little scared being moved to a new place and possibly could be a reason for the lack in appetite. Good luck
