Gram scale recommendations...

toddg May 02, 2004 01:28 AM

Hello All,

I am looking for a reliable gram scale for my adult balls. Planning on breeding them next year so trying to plan ahead.

100% het for alb. male
66% het for alb. female

One more question...

When building a rack how does one incorporate lighting? I am assuming this is crucial in the success of breeding but please correct me if I am wrong. It would be MUCH easier to build a rack without figuring out how to hang lights for night/day cycles.

TIA,

ToddG

I got a nice royal ex10 scale from oldwillknot.com recently. It goes up to 4,540 grams and was about $50 with shipping. As for bp and light, the light that comes through the window is all they need.

I agree with treeboa, oldwillknot is a good company to do business with.
I got the “My Weigh” 6001T it goes up to 6000 grams (I love it). Check out his listings on e-bay. When I purchased from him last year, his prices were cheaper on e-bay than his site for some reason?? I got mine for around $44.38 after shipping.

Thanks for the replys!

My wife informed me that the local "head" shop where she gets her tatoo work has gram scales. I think we can all assume what these scales are typically used for. She said they are less than $20.00. If the scales go up to 4,000 grams plus would this type of scale be reliable?

Appreciate the help people. Good luck this Summer in all your herpin events.
