do i have to seperate the male and female rats during any part of the breeding process? n/p

Have to? No... May want to at times yes to prevent back to back breeding... but if you're not worried about over-population then I would say no.... Though I do seperate my males every couple of months to give the females a rest period... I find they produce more if given this rest period than they do otherwise but thats only with my colonies.. dunno about everyone else's
