Plants Question

Bushmaster May 02, 2004 07:39 AM

Hi guys, I am planning to make a vivarium for lizards, probably crested geckos, and I have some questions, please help me on this:
1: What species of Tillandsia are suitable for more humid enviroments?

2: Cryptanthus are easy plats to care for?

3: I'm planning to use coco beding for substrate. Its a good choice for java moss grow on it?

4:Anyone knows if java moss produces spores or it just reproduces in propagation?

Thanks guys

1. I would say that T. butzii and T. bulbosa are the best. Many others are good too, but if it is over humid and causes them being wet constantly, they will get rotten.

2. Cryptanthus are very strong and easy to care for. I have some in my vivarium, they just grow, bloom, reproduce more...
