Update to stolen Indigos

ricksladick May 02, 2004 07:47 AM

This case is being investigated locally by 2 detectives that I have much confidence in. I have full support from authorities of this town. I happen to also be a town employee. Evidence has been collected and I will comment more later as things develop.
My biggest concern is that I am afraid these animals are now in the hands of someone who does not know how to care for them nor do they care.
I want to thank all of you for your support and suggestions for they are greatly appreciated. Many of you know all too well how violated one feels when something like this happens. I have personally put this matter into the hands of my God and have many people in prayer over it. God bless everyone of you.

God is always a good thing to rest things on. I'm glad to hear you are doing better. I would help but I'm not anywhere near you. Sorry.

I hope & pray with you Rick! The thought of the snakes being with an inexperienced loser is definetely sickening!!! I hope for the best . . . . .and keep my eyes/ears open!

I sincerely hope you get your snakes back. and that the person or persons involved reap the consequences of stealing someone elses belongings. That you put your faith in God to deliver them back safely to you is very admirable. But please remember this: God said, within the bible, not to love the things of this world as if valuable, nor store up treasures for ourslves in this world, where moth and rust can decay them, but to instead store up for ourselves our rewards in Heaven.
I often forget this little adage myself. In fact I have done so a lot in the past. Have gotten upset that I couldnt buy this or that snake, or that someone beat me to it, or that someone sold me a sick animal, or a falsely misrepresented one(Locale etc) I forgot the part in the bible where it stated not to love the things of this world excessivley, because this world as we know it is passing away.....
I wish I had been gratefull for the health of myself and my children, of haveing a roof over my head, of having a job, even a sucky one. Or having good friends.

But I didnt.......I was to angry about being wronged and how valuable what I had was to me, and how I would have been the first

I hope that you get your snakes back, but this is one heck of a way to learn a painfull lesson, at least it was for me......

Sincerely,

Fredrick Albury

sometimes the lessons that are painful to learn will save us even more pain in the future if we learn them.
