The February date actually refers to when the original post was created. The reason you see it coming up in the search set for May 13 @ 00:00 hrs is because someone has apparently posted a recent reply to that particular topic 
The search results was setup to show the single original post of each topic that had any posts matching your search pattern....whether a topic has one new reply or a dozen, only the original post shows up on the result page...keeps the clutter down otherwise there would be hundreds of posts and the various responses showing up in the results.
