Is Reptisafe necessary or not?

trinacliff Jun 15, 2003 10:51 PM

I was just wondering since we have a well, do we still need to use Reptisafe in the water? I was reading some posts about tap water and they reminded me of this question. THANKS!
Kristen

P.S. Once I get all these guys all set up and in the swing of things, the questions will become less. Promise!

Kristen,

We have well water, too. It is a relatively shallow (20') dug well. If you have an artesian well I would just use tap water, but if it's a dug, there can be problems. Personally, I buy spring water for the chams, Rose (tarantula) and me. They use so little b/t spritzing and water dish (Rose) that a gallon lasts a long time. Even with your Dad's Jackson it would probably be worth the investment... .50/gallon

Just my opinion...others may differ (big thread on water about a week ago)
