Have been riding the hills quite a bit now that the weather is warming. In the last week or two have found the following:
5 Thamnophis atratus. One crushed at midbody but alive and (apparently) healing.
4 Pittuophis catenifer. 2 were DOR.
2 Lampropeltis getulus. Both juveniles.
1 Lampropeltis zonata. Sub-adult.
7 Crotalus virdis. 3 DOR, 1 AOR, the rest under various cover.
TMTC Diadophis punctatus.
TMTC Eumeces, Scelerpoerus, Elgaria (southern), etc. One extremely pretty NORTHERN alligator. (I just GOTTA get a camera..., but there's only so much you can carry on a motorcycle.)
That's all for now folks.
