Male pyro acting strange

Hey,

I have a male pyro who's chasing and attacking his tail. He's also not eating. Is this just because he's horny, or is this something to be concerned about.

I wasn't worried about this until I saw him bite his tail and thrash his head around this morning. He started nipping at his tail a few days ago, but today he's been doing it with feeling.
