about what age do their stripes break into spots?...kind of important

rinoa05_1987 May 02, 2004 06:31 PM

when i first got isis her stripes were really dark and now they are becoming very light and the spots within them are becoming very prominant. i was just wondering about what age that would make her.

If she is starting to lose her stripes to spots. Then she is about 1-2 months old. I think now is about the time when she will get some purple, orange and gray. That is of-course if she is a jungle or high yellow.

If you could get a pic, I could tell you what she will look like for the rest of her life. Its not that hard to fortell at this age.

wow only 1-2 months. i didn't realize how young she is. yeah here is a pic of her last week but i don't think that it's a good pic. i'll try to post another one if i can get a pic of her tonight. i'll post it under this thread.

O ya, shes still a baby alright. She will start to get brighter colors then everything will go Yellow and a little bit of black spots. Most leo's have some Orange on the base of there tails and that usualy will fade away everytime they shed.

You're leopard gecko would be called a high yellow by most people. Ill try to get a site that shows how they change over every month.

thanks so much for the info. i'm glad i know her age and exactly what morph she is. the pic doesn't show it but she is a really bright orange, but its been fading to a yellow so i kinda figured she was a high yellow.

Ill keep searching for the site that shows a pic of the gecko from every month but here is what your leo probly looked like last month(the second pic on the site). And this is what she will look like with more yellow then white(the first pic on the site)
