Hey folks.
Just a quick update to let you know that the snake named Lucky is definitely ovulating. She's swollen up quite a bit and I am 100% certain I felt follicles doing their thing.

Quick recap, in response to Terry's post here, I described Lucky, a female Honduran who successfully laid some good eggs for me last year, but had some complications from eggbound surgery. She was never cooled this year (steady 87 degrees at the hot spot), and hasn't even been in the same room with a male since the breeding (April 03) that lead to last year's eggs.
At any rate, now she's ovulating and I guess we'll see if we can test out any retained sperm theories.

I had two females just lay that were only cooled for four weeks.They were bred by a male that was down for three months but that should help people out if the were wondering.
