Well, as usual, the First show of my season was relatively uneventfull. A few gray rats, a couple of blues, a taiwan, one chinese(which had originally been marked as Taiwan), a couple of Emories(which were both marked as bairdi...what?), and a nice selection of adult Koreans, which for some reason I didn't get any...(kicking self good on that one) There's generally not much around yet this time of year, but odd-ball selection is generally better due to the importing season starting. Guess its been a slow start there too. Lots of ball pythons, bearded dragons, and columbian boas though.
On the plus side, I picked up an adult pair of Western coachwhips, one being very red(I know not rats, but I thought I'd share anyway)
And...upon returning home, I was pleased to find my main female blue beauty had laid 14 wonderfull looking eggs! What a wonderfull way to end a herp filled, although uneventfull for ratsnakes, weekend. I've got some hopefully good pictures of my female with her clutch that I should be able to get up here in the next couple of days for you all to see.
