I'm trying to make my Scales screen cage more asthetically appealing for me and my crested gecko. I'd like to create an active substrate but I am wondering what people use to line the inside of a screen cage to prevent the soil, etc from migrating out the sides and to protect the loose bottom wooden plank. Or, are there screen cages that have a bottom especially designed for an active soil of 3 inches?
