Bedding in Hidebox?

dragonlovers May 03, 2004 01:05 AM

What's the general opinion on bedding in the hidebox? If the cage already has sand as a substrate do we need something additional in the hideboxes? If so what types of things work best? Another quick question, what types of greenery does everyone feed their beardies?

Well, I don't use Hide boxes because the enclosure has a couple places that they can hide if they want. They rarely use them.

As far as feeding, Mine love any kind of leafy vege, Lettuce, greens etc....
Buy romaine lettuce and I guaranty they will eat it up. They also eat green beans and yellow squash. ...Apples...Bananas....

I occasionaly throw a couple pieces of Cereal, like cherrios, in the enclosure as a treat. They seem to love that.

Good luck
