this is the best i can do i bealeve its a southern pacific pond turtle (actinemys marmorata pallida)any help wpld be apreaceated

try holding the camera back a bit more. itll let the camera focus a bit better. otherwise, it looks like any number of turtles.

yeah but the long tail and location make it seem likey that its a marmorata.
careful of the laws there. They are protected in cali.

It could well be a Pacific Pond from the long tail, but it would be very, very difficult to establish the subspecies at this stage and totally impossible from the blurred pictures.
