my overly amorous male has chewed the nape or neck of his female girl friend raw appearing to be black sore all over the neck area no blood i soaked her in tap water w/ a splash of betadine sol. and swabed the sore areas w/ betadine ,isolated her she doesnt want to eat and a lil slow any help ?!! Chris

I should think that with a minor injury a nice swabbing with Betadine and maybe a bit of Neosporin ointment should be OK. However, if he is showing signs like this there is a possibility that some infection has set in already, or that the injury may be more extensive than you think. It sounds to me as though a trip to the vet may be in order. Sooner, preferably than later.......
