I have a question regarding Dandelion Greens? Is this something you purchase at the supermarket? I've never seen it. Or do you feed iggys the dandelions in the yard? Are dandelions the ones with the pinchy leaves? Thanks for any help. I hear dandelions are great for iggys and I would love to feed them to my iggy.

Yes you can purchase at a supermarket. Many chain markets will get in special orders for people.
I have been picking from my yard. You can ONLY do this if you do not add anything like pesticide or fertilizer to your yard. I will try to make a mental note to take a pic of them in my yard for you. BTW Flowers and greens are both healthy to feed.

Thanks!! I think I know which ones they are but i'm not 100% sure and I don't want to feed Iggy something by mistake. I belive the leaves have like "pinchy" edges. A pic would be great. Thanks again!

I think this is a beautiful picture of a dandelion, and I had the same problem identifying them once summer was over and the leaf bunches no longer had flowers. Various dandelion clumps can look really different- the ones in my yard are small and stumpy, and the "pinchy" jagged leaves are sort of round at the points. The ones I buy in at Whole Foods Market are very sharp at the ends, and VERY long!! Hope this picture helps.

The ones I buy in local store are very long and no flowers, cultivated I think.
I do not take from outside as I am in Chicago where people spray so much on the lawns.
Lizzy loves the ones I buy her though, hope you find some.
