Night vision

mizar 21 May 03, 2004 07:02 AM

I know that gecko are nocturnal, but do they have good night vision ? I guess so by the look of their eyes but i want to know if somebody know for sure ?

Every night, when i feed my leo its kinda dark, he just dont come out when his light are up. Even with some distant light he dont like it...So when i feed him it's quite dark. He catch a few crix and some escape. I was wondering if he can catch then at night when it very dark.

Last night he almost eat right from my hand, i consider that to be a good news since he is so shy

leos are made to see in the dark, that is why thier pupils get so tiny if there is a lot of light in the room.
