Hello. I am thinking about getting a painted turtle, but have a few questions. I have been keeping several species of frogs for a few years, but have never had a turtle before.
First, would a 30 gal aquarium (36 1/4 long x12 5/8 wide x16 3/4 high) be enough space for a painted turtle?
Second, where is a good place to get painted turtles? I would rather adopt a turtle that needs a home if at all possible. I am in Washington State.
