Is this boa a Longicauda or mix?

LauraV May 03, 2004 04:54 PM

I am unfamiliar with that particular boa, but I was determined to try to find out for the people who own the boa. To me it looks like it could possible be just a very dark Columbian or a Col/Long mix. She does have the medalian on her head, and she is predominantly black and silvery-buff. The lighting gives a yellowish cast that she really doesn't have.
This is the only pic I have of her right now - I hope you can see enough of her to base an opinion.

It looks as if it may have some Mexican Boa influence in it but it is not a BCL, Go a few post down someone posted a great picture of BCL and you will see what the distinct head markings are. Nice Boa but not BCL
