Nice snake Thane. Male or Female? How long?

Thane May 04, 2004 05:28 PM

Is a very nice snake. Nice to humans (as are most indigos), evil, satanic hellion, bringer of death to mice, snakes, lizards, hobbits, pixies and whatever else it can get its mouth around I haven't TRIED feeding it lizards (may pass on parasites), hobbits (if I catch one), pixies (if I catch one), snakes (not yet, but MIGHT after using antiparasitics and 6 month, to a year quarantine). Male somewhere between 4 and five ft. I'm guessing closer to four right now. I'll get a better idea when I try to get a measurement.

Looks just like mine . . .Where'd you get him? I have one identical to yours - same coloring in the face. Mine is about 8 months old and growing like a weed and eating like there's no tomorrow. He's 37" now. Got him from Rick Sladdick in NC. last year. Should get some pics tomorrow or the next day. Just got a new digital cam just a few hours ago. Will still have to figure out how to use it! LOL!
Thanks for sharing and good luck!

Got him from someone in my same state (WA. was lucky). I'll let HIM contact you if he wants.

They grow fast and will eat a lot. And, you'll be cleaning the cage a lot. Oh, the joys of indigos If they weren't one of the coolest species of snake on earth, the crap-fest they always have, would turn most off to 'em They're caca-artists. After awhile, you'll laugh about it.

Good luck with yours too. Take care, enjoy it and educate people willing to listen and learn.
