BrianD May 03, 2004 07:29 PM

This guy is more red than any other Boa I've ever seen:

This Girl isn't as red, but I love her tail:

The other pics first of all are about 10 months old. Second they were taken under just normal house lighting. That first pic is of the second snake anyway. These new pics were taken with a new setup I made copying the "light box" technique that people on the chondro forum use. That is how red the snake is.I took the pic with my digital camera then resized it then saved for web, nothing more. Trust me I'm not the type of person to use photoshop to misrepresent my snakes and I think it's BS that you feel the need to acuse me. A little jelous maybe? I forgot why I don't post in the Boa forum, but thanks for reminding me

Not accusing, simply questioning. Because thats a whooooole lot of red that doesnt show through on the other pics. wasn't being rude, just questioning is all. If they are really that read, that is amazing.

I do computer graphics for a living, so i know just how easy it could be to touch things up.

Not jealous as all as it's not my preffered species. But having seen quite a few in the flesh they stuck out as DRAMATICALLY redder than any other straight up hypo I've seen

again, just questioning, not making alligations, it seemed relevant and appropriate to compare them to other photos you have posted on your site.

If they really do look like that in person, well,... youre one lucky guy.

I just HATE when people use photoshop to alter pictures and it is so obvious and that is why I don't want to be acused of a something like that. The old pics were taken with a really crappy digital camera and the new ones are with my new Toshiba camera. Here are the rest of the pics I took today unaltered in any way:

Select Reps, he was listed as a Harmon line. I have no idea who Harmon is, if you have any idea please let me know. Sorry for the additude it's just that is how the snake looks and I finally got the lighting to show it. I used a mixture of fluorescent lights and GE reveal bulbs behind a white sheet.

I'll have to admit that I thought the same thing. Really I could care less. If you say that's how it looks.......I'll believe ya! No reason for me not to. For me, it's just that your hypo went thru quite a change. The other pics look to be true. Again, I could care less.........I think it a nice animal either way.
And, I'm not trying to bum you out for posting a pic......So, we'll nip that in the bud hopefully.
