Was just wondering how many days after the eggs have been layed can you see veins?

Was just wondering how many days after the eggs have been layed can you see veins?
Well, in the egg I hatched, I never saw veins.. I did see the red glow and, right before he was going to hatch, the gecko moving inside, but never any veins. I guess it all depends on shell thickness? I think the nice red glow at one end should be sign enough of a fertile egg.

I do not check my eggs everyday as I do not want to disturb them. I wait until about 2 weeks and if they are still full I check. I usually see them by then. However do not go by that alone. If the egg is in good shape and nice and full let it sit for a while.
The glowing is definately a great indicator. My egg was glowing so beautifully I hardly needed to candle it (the normal light caused it to glow before I turned them out.).
