Here is my baby blizzard

lisa_cristin May 03, 2004 08:20 PM

She has a scratch on top of her, it has been there for about a week and it's not getting better. What would you all reccomend? polysporin...? or is it too close to her eyes?

Also she seem to change color from grey (when she is in her home) to white (when I handel her). Does anyone eles experience this as well.

hehe i got 2 baby blizzies recently too ...whered u get urs?...the grey on top of the head usually goes away totally...if the overall gecko is pinkish usually it becomes white....however if the gecko is mostly grey right now...u might end up with a grey blizzard...it happens...some say its melanin deposited in incubation etc...but some pics can be seen if u look on the photo gallery and search for "blizzard"

Aww, what a sweety! I don't know much about treating wounds, so I hope somone else can aid you on that! Congradulations and the color change is normal.

my gecko had a cut from a badly made ceramic hide once...when it was trying to shed it rubbed against it and it cut itself...i used neosporin...same thing as polysporin i think...and it healed but there was a scab...but i think after 3 or 4 sheds its completely gone...

I'm just worried about it getting in her eyes. How close was the cut on your leos head to his eyes?
