And that's all I know. What do you think she is? If anyone has pictures to compare her to please post them.

Here is my Hypos

lisa_cristin May 03, 2004 08:26 PM

Wow they are so orange. My little girl only has orange on her legs.

nice hypo...frankly hypos come in a variety of colors...normal hypos are basically geckos with very little spots...and a bit lighter in color..if ur lucky and get a tang hypo...then it'll be orangy with no spots...or only spots on the head...etc...

What do you think the 2 pictures I posted are? I've been told Hypo-tangs? What's your thought?

ericchen May 03, 2004 08:28 PM

the first pic bottom gecko looks like a hypo tang...the top one...i frankly don't know what to call...usually hypos have minimal spots...but urs is unusually orangy...not really familiar with that one...maybe there is a term...maybe there isn't...high orange?..im guessing if they have hi-yellows they could produce hi-oranges.....but either way...beautiful geckos!

Thanks....We are doing pretty good. My 3 year old cried all night last night about it, and this morning she wanted to know where we buried her, and when I told her she said she was going to get a shovel and go get her, but as the day went on she is doing better.

lisa_cristin May 03, 2004 08:38 PM

Aww your poor little girl. When I was a kid, loosing a pet was harder for me than loosing a grandparent. It sounds crazy, but it's true.

ericchen May 03, 2004 08:38 PM

im sure she'll become one of the greatest gecko owners ever!!!...and tell her your gecko (spike was it?) has gone to cricket and mealworm land...and is living happily with other geckos

Here's my other....They are no longer on sand.

lisa_cristin May 03, 2004 08:27 PM

Again, very nice orange. How old are they? All of mine are about a month old.

SpikeNsquirt May 03, 2004 08:29 PM

About 3 months....that's my guess. We have only had them for about a month.
