Ummm, not to sound dis-respectful but that didnt answer my question, i asked what was the diffrence not what one looked like.

P.S. if someone could post a better picture along with what the diffrences were i would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

The defining difference is that a high yellow will have no spots on it's rear legs.

As I was explaining, if you look at that thread from which I posted a link in the other post, you'll see I was corrected for saying exactly what you just did. Spots of back legs or not, all that matters is a bright yellow background.

I do believe that there are obviously other aspcets that define high yellow. The biggest factor is that the gecko have a nice bright yellow with less melanine throught it's body. However if you have two very similar geckos side by side. One has spots on it's rear legs and one does not then the defining difference is the spots on the rear legs. This is only my opinion through my experience. If someone offered me a high yellow with spots on it's rear legs I would not accecpt it. The standard in this aspect of leopard geckos is changing every year, I believe it should be getting more strict as to how we define every morph. Unfortunatly there are no set starndards that EVERYONE follows. There are to many people that will call a gecko whatever they want to make it sell better. I'm sorry for the rambling post and this was not directed at anyone in particuliar.

in the post about the high yellow and norm it is stated no spots is a pattern phase not a morph phase. as for the difference i would just do a search through yahoo typing in something like high yellow leopard gecko information. you'd probably get better information through doing something like that. i have learned to do a serch through the internet before posting a question, that way you get an answer as opposed to checking the board for five days straight and get nothing informative.
