Which of these two snakes are the most fun to interact with? After keeping a dog I enjoy animals that are fun to interact with. Which would you say is more of a joy to handle and interact with each day? I

I havent really worked with corn snakes but I do have one het albino male ball python that wants a piece of me everytime I come within 2 feet of him lol. The rest of my collection have great dispositions. Just remember, anything with teeth can bite, I'm sure there is a corn snake out there that is just as agressive, just uncommon.

I have a corn and 2 ball pythons...corns for the most part are more active...at least in my experience...most of the balls that I've seen are really docile and still..where corns move alot and are known to be very curious. Depends on what you want.

i have 2 Ball Pythons, and have and deal with many many cornsnakes. It depends on the animal. LIke osmeone said, corn snakes dont sit still much. Ball pythons will curl up and fall asleep.

and Ball Pythons definately hurt more compared to a corn snake. But I've only been bit once by a ball python and numerous times by corn snakes.

I guess it depends on wha you are looking for. Balls and corns are very different. Balls are shy, heavily bodied and slow. Corns can be shy, but are usually less so than ball pythons, seem more ready to bite (in my experience of having had four different corns and four different balls, I've been bitten by two different corns). Corn snakes are slender and fast-moving. A ball will sit in your hands more often than a corn will. Cornsnakes also come in a million affordable morphs which is a fun part about them.

Both have nice dispositions, although it highly depends on the individual. I would reccomend going to a reptile expo or pet shop and handling each type of snake to see what you might prefer.

You might also want to look into jungle carpet pythons and Iraian Jaya carpet pythons. I find my jungle extremely fun to interact with.
