hi,
I was just wondering about the same thing, except my tegu is a black and white tegu and i have two. Could someone please send me a picture of their cage or a cage that they would suggest me to build. I want them to have the best cage that they can have because they will be on their own for most of the day.

Also is it a possibility to let them stay in my room?? And is it possible to train them to use a cat litter tray so that they dont poo on the floor??

And also how old do tegus have to be before they breed and does this stunt their growth at all??? Also is it hard to breed tegus as I have no experience with them and have a male and a female???

mine are 8'x8' outdoor pens. For indoor cages, I would say a minimum of 4'x6' but they should get out to stretch and exersice as much as possible.
