First Feeding of a Hatchling

morgan5 May 04, 2004 11:25 AM

Hello all,
My new hatchling BP, bought about 2.5 weeks ago, has not wanted to eat frozen hoppers.
He has not as of yet fed for the first time, and I wanted to know how long he can go without being fed.
I am worried, and want him to eat, but I dont want to force him.
How long should I wait? Does anyone have any information to help me?
Thanks in advance.
Morgan

Try it with a live weaner, that should work. If you don't like feeding live, make sure that the hoppers have been fully defrosted and warm them up to about 100 degrees F before offering.
