i need a lesson in sex ed

ok, so i may be working on my master's but it is not in lizard biology so i was wondering from what point does it take three weeks to lay the eggs.
like ivan turned orange about a week and a half ago but i just saw walter and her doing the deed, much to her objection. are the eggs just in there for three weeks and whenever conception occurs, it occurs and she just lays the eggs regardless of when they were fertilized or are the eggs in there three weeks after conception. what if he fertilized some eggs now and some eggs earlier, will that effect anything.

Whoo, that little girl was so MAD once walter got off her. she was arched on her tiptoes so high, i thought she was trying to be a ballerina

Three weeks between clutches...give or take. The mating between doesn't really matter, as they may retain sperm from the first successful mating. Any other mating is simply because they like to show off when people are watching...kind of like monkeys LOL

yeah, walter does like to show off. he certainly is a virile little man, especially for never having hibernated. it's pretty bad when they all hide from him. you said three weeks between clutches...so should i be counting from the 14th when she laid her eggs or from when she turned orange? if it is from when she laid them that is good news because i will be in town, if it is from when she turned orange then i guess i will have to pray my best friend can keep them warm and cool enough till i get back in town

well i have everything ready to go just in case. she is rather large but she still eats like one cricket a day. i think it has more to do with how easily she can catch them cause she does not chase any. i am just waiting on her and when they come, they come.
